Steve and Amy were the winners of a music competition held at the Art Room run by Leamington Studio Artists over the past two weeks.
Visitors to the gallery were invited to identify the musical artists whose song titles had inspired the titles of 11 photographs displayed by Mark Godfrey, the artist in residence for the first two weeks of August. Of the 54 entries received, seven correctly identified all 11.
Steve and Amy had visited the Art Room on the day before their wedding taking a welcome break amid their last minute preparations. They were delighted to win a signed print of their chosen photograph, ‘Homeward Bound’, a photograph of the Jephson Gardens, the place where they first met. The print was presented by Mike Patrick, Chair of Leamington Studio Artists.
