This month, Lucy Burton joins Eyes from Above and Below at The Art Room as one of the featured artists in residence. Rooted in discovery, discipline, and experimentation, her alla prima oil paintings capture the vitality of each brushstroke—whether portraying the delicate form of flowers or the character of a beloved pet. As a “daily painter” and teacher, Lucy embraces risk-taking and mindful practice, guiding others to find confidence and rhythm in their own creative journeys.
