As Artist in Residence for Resilience at The Art Room, Rachel Harwood brings a unique perspective shaped by a lifetime spent immersed in nature.
From horticulture and willow weaving to painting, her work celebrates the subtle signs of changing seasons and the beauty many of us overlook. Through expressive use of texture, colour and mixed media, Rachel’s paintings reflect the exhibition’s themes of growth, renewal and the quiet resilience found in the natural world.
