JACQUI SMITHSON IS ARTIST IN RESIDENCE AT LSA ART ROOM UNTIL SUNDAY 4TH JUNE

LUCY BURTON TO BE ARTIST IN RESIDENCE
AT LSA ART ROOM FROM MONDAY 5TH JUNE

Lucy has been painting for the last 20 years alongside running a costume hire business from her home in Leamington.

Using Oil Paints on smooth panel board she paints ‘alla prima’. She enjoys painting flowers, animals and landscapes: experimenting with colour, composition and brushwork.

She also teaches one day painting workshops in ‘Floral Still Life’ and ‘Pet Portraits’, has exhibited with Warwickshire Open Studios and took part in Leamington’s first ‘Artfest’ artfair in 2022.

The LSA Art Room invites you to the private viewing of our exciting new exhibition of LSA members’ work, on the theme of Deadly Sins.

This new exhibition has created a lot of conversation and debate within our membership and promises to be a very exciting experience. Our private views are always incredibly enjoyable, and we would love you to join us to view this amazing collection with a glass of bubbly and lots of wonderful company.Come and celebrate the start of spring, with an incredible array of artwork from our talented LSA membership.

COFFEE MORNING AT EAST LODGE ON FRIDAY 5TH MAY

FROM 10:30 to 12am

You are warmly welcomed to join us for a
Coffee Morning at East Lodge.

This will be an opportunity for all members to learn more about volunteering for the LSA, and for new members to get to know East Lodge.

Vital though it is, volunteering isn’t just stewarding exhibitions, it can be DIY/painting skills for maintenance, IT skills for promotional/information material, social media genius spreading the word about the LSA, secretarial skills, the list is endless.

We would love to see you – whatever your skill, it will be greatly appreciated.
