The LSA Open Exhibition at East Lodge Gallery runs from 31st August to 25th September 2022.

Submission Details and Requirements
This exhibition is open to members and non-members, and has no theme. Entries must be the original work.
Each artist may submit up to two artworks to the Exhibition. There is a selection process. The acceptance decision is final and work must be ‘fit to hang’ as below.
The entry fee is £10 for members/£15 for non-members per accepted piece. To join LSA https://lsa-artists.org/join-lsa/
The submission fee for a small group of items e.g. a set of ceramics will be £20 for members/£25 for non-members.
The submission fee will be taken when work is accepted prior to exhibition.
Canvases and framed works must be wire or cord strung. Stringing should be a third of the way down and using D rings. (No mirror plates please). Inappropriately prepared or wet/damp work will be rejected.
Submissions will be accepted from members when also submitting to the main exhibition, of up to 5 prints for display in browsers, at a cost of £2 each. Browser items must be individually mounted, backed with strong card and wrapped in cellophane.
If an artwork is sold and removed from the exhibition, you will be contacted and invited to provide a replacement at no charge. The replacement may not exceed the size of the original submission.
All works must be clearly marked on the reverse or underneath with: the artist’s name, the title of the work, price, telephone number and email address.
Submission will take place on Monday 29th August 6 and 8 pm or Tuesday 30th August 10-11 am at East Lodge.
Unsold items should be collected on Sunday 25th September (4.30-6 pm). Failure to collect at this time, without prior arrangement with the Manager, will incur an additional £5 charge.
The LSA will not take responsibility for any loss or damage to artwork. Please ensure that you have adequate insurance in place.
There will be a 10% commission charged on sales.
A Private View will be held on Sunday 18th September 2022 between 1 pm and 3 pm. When the David Phillips Award for a member will be announced. A separate award will be made for the visitors’ favourite at the end of the exhibition (member or non-member).
