Terms and Conditions

1. You are aged 16 years or above.
2. You live in Warwickshire and Coventry.
3. You have never taken part in Leamington Studio Artists bursary programme before.
4. The work you will be displaying is all your own work.
5. LSA will only award the full complement of four bursaries if the judging panel, appointed by the LSA trustees, believes the work meets the required standard.
6. The deadline for submissions is 6pm 31st January 2025; artists will be notified if successful 14 February 2025. 

1. As part of the requirement of being offered the bursary you must support the venue you exhibit at with the set-up and takedown of the exhibition and the manning of the exhibition. [We feel this is a fundamental part of learning about what is involved in becoming an artist.]
2. All unsuccessful applicants will be notified by 14 February 2025.
3. A panel of three experienced LSA artists will decide from the applications who are to be awarded the bursaries. 
4. The successful artists will then receive an initial payment of £125 to enable them to fund the preparation of artworks, with a further payment of £125 made by April.
5. These payments will be paid directly into the artist's chosen bank account.
6. If you are awarded a bursary, you agree for your information and images of your work to be used to promote your involvement in our newsletters, external press, website and social media channels.
7. LSA reserves the right to edit and crop images for use in promotional items.
8. Copyright of all images submitted for use to LSA will remain with the artist or the authorised image maker. 
9. Please be aware that we will use a selection of these images for marketing purposes and to promote LSA. 
10. Please make sure that you either own the copyright or have the permission of the copyright holder to use any images.
11. Awardees must submit a short report upon completion, detailing fund usage and the impact on their artistic development.
