A Huge Thank You: LSA AGM 2025
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Monday 8th December for the Leamington Studio Artists AGM. It was a fantastic evening reflecting on a year of growth and sharing our ambitious vision for the future of our 454-strong community.
Our Roadmap for the Future
Building on our history of pioneering initiatives like Art in the Park and Warwickshire Open Studios, we outlined four key strategic priorities for the coming year:
- Community & Audience Engagement: We are committed to fostering deeper local connections, developing inclusive programmes, and building new partnerships with businesses and cultural organisations.
- Digital Infrastructure: We are entering the next phase of our website project to streamline administration, support our volunteers, and enhance our online presence.
- Artist Support & Development: We will continue to champion our members through innovative support and impactful exhibitions that provide meaningful platforms for your work.
- Financial Sustainability: We are focused on diversifying revenue streams to ensure long-term security and the ongoing success of our bursary programme.
Adapting to a Changing Landscape
The trustees closely monitor local developments, such as the emerging Creative Quarter, to ensure the LSA remains a central pillar of Leamington’s evolving cultural ecosystem.
Celebrating Our Stars: LSA Volunteer Awards 2025
One of the highlights of the AGM was the presentation of our 2025 Volunteer Awards. These awards are our way of saying thank you to the people who go above and beyond to keep the LSA running smoothly.
This year, we were proud to present two categories of awards, based on nominations from our members and our board of Trustees.
Member-Nominated Volunteer Awards
These awards are based on nominations from our members, recognising those who provide exceptional support to their fellow artists and LSA. The awards were presented to:
- Giuseppe Pittarello
- Shelley Chapman
- Jonathan Corbett
Trustee Awards
These awards represent nominations from the Trustees, recognising individuals whose dedication has been vital to the organisation’s success and stability. The awards were presented to:
- Jacky Buckingham
- Fiona Metcalfe
- Alastair Gamble
A huge congratulations to all our nominees and winners! Your hard work is the foundation of everything we do.
The Trustees wish to express their immense gratitude to our dedicated team of volunteers. Your tireless commitment—from curating exhibitions to administrative tasks—is what keeps the Art Room and Jephson Gardens Gallery open almost every day of the week. This is a remarkable achievement that simply wouldn’t be possible without you.

If you couldn’t make it, don’t worry! We will be sharing full minutes and further details on these strategic plans in the new year.
