We are delighted to announce that local artist and LSA member, Alice Goode, has been busy creating an exciting new miniature installation for Jephson Garden Galleries and Studios, due to open Wednesday 10th June 2026.
Titled: Lythop’s Cupboard Studio, the piece transforms a shelf within the tall hallway cupboard just outside the studio rooms into the small-scale working space of Alice’s artistic alter ego, Lythop (Art).
Viewed through a small window pane, visitors will be invited to peer inside and discover shelves of materials, works in progress, sketchbooks, easels and all the familiar clutter of studio life, lovingly recreated at an enchanting miniature scale. Both playful and intricately observed, the installation offers a charming glimpse into the creative world behind Alice’s highly detailed miniature painting practice.
