He has kindly offered to become a patron of LSA.
He has been learning painting skills under the tuition of Lynne Gougeon in her East Lodge studio for some time now. He continues to be a firm supporter of the arts, and he has felt he would like to make more of a contribution to our organisation.
The role of LSA East Lodge Manager is still being advertised. If anyone is keen to learn more about what this position entails, and express their interest then please contact either:

GIUSEPPE PITTARELLO
My interest and fascination in art started early in life, however a busy career and family life were not conductive to my passion, and it was only following my retirement that I was given time to decide to personal expression and fulfil my dream.
Vibrant colours and landscapes inspire my work and are very much reflected in my portrayal of surreal and abstract dimensions / style. Oil predominantly with acrylic
I have had the privilege to exhibit solo at both the Loft Theatre and East Lodge in Leamington Spa, and in several other venues in connection with other local art societies such Coventry and Warwickshire Society of Arts, the Association of Midland Artists, the Stratford-Upon-Avon and Leamington Studio Artists, of which I am a member.
I was born locally [Cubbington], although I have worked in many places throughout the world from India, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and the Far East.
It was when I semi-retired that I met up with an old work colleague who influenced me to start painting; that was in 2015 and I have been painting ever since. I am a self-taught artist and my love of nature, and the environment influences me the most in my work.
I was a draughtsman early in my career and am open to different art forms as I think they help give you a broader perspective. Most of my work is in acrylic although I still like watercolour.
My only real claim to fame is designing my wife’s book cover
LISA REITER
A constant longing for wild and windy mountains, stormy seas and wide open spaces leads me to a daily dance with paint, exploring memories of favourite places and elemental experiences through the language of colour, contrast and texture.
I hope these paintings evoke feelings of calm, exhilaration or joy for moments of escape from life’s clutter
AT JEPHSON PARK, LEAMINGTON SPA
If you recall it was LSA member Mo Finnesey who started Art in the Park. Unfortunately, Mo passed away in April 2020, but her legacy lives on.
We are looking forward to seeing our members at Art in the Park in its 10th year, our marquee is in Archery Fields and of course in East Lodge.
Repeat announcement for ‘IDENTITY’ themed exhibition at LSA Art Room – Please refer to previous Art Room email for submission details.
