Winter Open Exhibition

The LSA Art Room invites you to submit your very best artwork for our “Winter Exhibition” running up to & beyond the Christmas period.

The exhibition will open on Tuesday 22nd November and we will have a Private Viewing on Friday 25th November at 6pm. You are invited to submit one piece of work only. The submission window will close at 6pm on Thursday 17th November.

All works submitted must be an original (no prints) and must be framed (if applicable) ready to hang with D rings.

It is free to submit, but we will be asking for a £10 hanging fee from all successful artists, to help our amazing venue stay open. We will continue with our low commission rate of 10% on all artworks sold, and if you sell before the end of the exhibition, you are welcome to replace your piece with another at no extra cost. Your £10 hanging fee will be payable at the Art Room on delivery of your work.

One submission per artist, please click here.

Look out for a reply from once we have chosen the pieces for the exhibition. We reply to everyone, successful or not, so you should always hear from us. If you don’t, please check your spam then get in touch if you haven’t heard. If you have any problems or questions, email us on

We can’t wait to see your submissions and hang our new exhibition.

Collecting/Dropping off work

As we are coming to the close of our current exhibition we would like to remind you that collecting your works will happen on Sunday 20th November from 11am-4pm. If you have been notified that you have been accepted for our “Winter Exhibition” then you can drop off your next piece at the same time. Please look out for our email confirming your acceptance.

We encourage all artists exhibiting with us to help man the gallery and contribute to the running of the gallery during the duration of the exhibition. Please do get in touch asap –

We would also like to make a call out for some of our newer members to do some volunteer slots at our wonderful sister gallery at East Lodge in beautiful Jephson Gardens. If this is something you could do, please get in touch.

Thanks again to all of you for your hard work in making the LSA Art Room the success it is.

About Lucy Burton

I paint regularly 'alla prima' in oil paint, always aiming to produce a piece of art that is full of character and colour: be it a landscape, portrait or still life. A good composition and the freedom to experiment with colour and interesting brush marks is what inspires me most. I enjoy teaching others and run regular oil painting workshops. I've exhibited in 'Warwickshire Open Studios' , Leamington 'Artfest' and taken part in 'Landscape Artist of the Year' as a wildcard artist.
