Collecting/Dropping off works at The LSA Artroom

Dear LSA Members,

We hope this email finds you all well. Over the last few weeks of our first LSA Art Room exhibition it has been wonderful to welcome so many of you as artist volunteers into the gallery. We have loved getting to know you all and your works. Thank you for giving up your time to help us man the Art Room. Your dedication and commitment to working as a collective has helped to make it a huge success.

Collecting/Dropping off works

As we are coming to the close of our first exhibition we would like to remind you that collecting your works for the current exhibition will happen on either Sunday 16th & Monday 17th October from 10am-5pm. If you have been notified that you have been accepted for our next exhibition ‘Light & Shade’ then you can drop off your next piece at the same time. Please look out for our email confirming your acceptance.

Volunteering

Unless you have contacted us to inform us otherwise, we will keep your regular volunteering slot for the next exhibition ‘Light & Shade’. If you haven’t yet volunteered and would like to, then please do get in touch asap – lsaartroom@gmail.com

We would also like to make a call out for some of our newer members to do some volunteer slots at our wonderful sister gallery at East Lodge in beautiful Jephson Gardens. If this is something you could do, please get in touch.

About Lucy Burton

I paint regularly 'alla prima' in oil paint, always aiming to produce a piece of art that is full of character and colour: be it a landscape, portrait or still life. A good composition and the freedom to experiment with colour and interesting brush marks is what inspires me most. I enjoy teaching others and run regular oil painting workshops. I've exhibited in 'Warwickshire Open Studios' , Leamington 'Artfest' and taken part in 'Landscape Artist of the Year' as a wildcard artist.
