After studying art what seems to be a million years ago in preparation for becoming a teacher, and then a career in teaching, medical writing and international development I retired, and only then began painting.
An intuitive painter I am intrigued with mark-making, texture and colour. Playing mostly with acrylics but also with oils and pastels I work on paper and canvas and draw on inspiration from the landscape. I’m now developing my skills and practice hopefully in a more mindful way.
