Huyen Phan is a Vietnamese artist who specializes in mixed media, textured art. Huyen’s art is inspired by her love of the universe and the way it makes her feel. Her theme of hope and continuity of life and the ways in which these emotions are intertwined with the natural world.
She has been working with Community Arts Projects UK to raise awareness of the importance of art in mental health for prisoners. Her artworks are featured in the Redemption Roaster coffee chain in prominent London locations.
She was invited to speak at the several Criminal Justice conferences as well as Prison and Probation Services Conferences, Inspired Talks to show challenges for foreign national women with criminal records and how to overcome those with art.
