I am an artist and art tutor living and working in Coventry for 30 years. I first began my artistic life as an illustrator working in publishing after I studied Illustration. I then studied an MA in Fine Art At Coventry University and also a City and Guilds in Adult Teaching. I went on to teach at The University of Warwick for 13 years and on and off at Coventry University. I taught a variety of art subjects including Life Drawing and Oil Painting. I work in varied media while I am teaching including Drawing, Ink work, Watercolour, Oils and Acrylics with some photography and sculpture. I also write poetry and have just contributed to a group poetry initiative now waiting to be printed. I continue to teach and take portrait commissions and also develop my own artwork based on pop art and ephemera. I exhibit locally and volunteer within the local art community.
