Constructed Textiles are my area of interest. I am almost entirely self-taught. I began with knitting and stitching as a young child and progressed on to Crochet and more formal Embroidery. Later, I learned to do Tapestry Weaving and in time, began handspinning and learned to hand-make felt and do Needlefelting. Nowadays, I like to find ways to combine the different skills, increasingly in conjunction with re-using fabric and yarns/threads.
