I'm a self-taught artist based in Birmingham, UK, inspired by the ever-changing landscapes of woodland, hills, rural parks within urban spaces, and the coast. Working in mixed media, I create intuitive abstract pieces that explore the emotional resonance of place and memory. My work often features bold, dramatic forms contrasted with flashes of bright colour, aiming to capture a fleeting moment in time. I hold a BA (Hons) in History from the Open University, which also involved elements of Art History, inspiring my creativity and my love of art. My creative journey was further inspired when I began while working in historic places. It was there-surrounded by layers of human experience and set in striking natural environments-that I felt compelled to start painting. These landscapes, whether found in the countryside or tucked within the city, continue to shape my artistic perspective. Through my art, I hope to invite others into a quiet, reflective space-one where mood, memory, and nature collide.
