Following an Art Foundation course at Mid Warwickshire College, I pursued a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, specializing in Painting at Cheltenham Art School. It was there that I cultivated a passion for creating large-scale canvases using transparent glazes. My early works began with spontaneous mark-making, evolving into dynamic figurative paintings that used the human form to weave narrative and expression. Since then, my career as a commercial artist and designer has been incredibly diverse, encompassing commissioned pieces such as murals, specialist paint finishes like marbling, wood graining, trompe l’oeil, and decorative ornamental design, as well as portraits, custom paintings, and book illustrations. My work can be found all over the world in both domestic and commercial settings. Currently, I dedicate most of my time in the studio to advancing my painting practice, delving into abstraction, and employing the myriad of techniques I’ve honed over the years. I revel in experimenting with colour and texture, embracing an intuitive approach to my work.
