My Profile

Having spent 4 years working in East Asia, I have stepped back from my career as a classroom teacher of Art and Design to develop my own practice. Inspired by Asian brush-and-ink techniques, I create paintings and sculptures inspired by animals and the human figure. I trained as a theatre designer in the 80s, so I'm as comfortable wielding a giant paintbrush as I am doing a detailed drawing.
