Hayley Burgess is an Warwickshire based Artist Printmaker and Teacher with a BA in Fine Art. She uses traditional printmaking techniques including Drypoint, Lithography and Silk Screen to create original handmade Art inspired by nature and memories.
Interested in the relevance of traditional printmaking in the digital era - she chooses to create small, diverse editions or monoprints that highlight the distinctive qualities each technique brings.
Inspired by the natural world and being environmentally conscious, Hayley works exclusively with non-toxic processes, reusing and recycling plate materials where possible. Through making, she revisit moments. Intrigued how memories can become reshaped by feeling and translated into art that resonates.
