Jean Ensell, MA RCA, is a textile designer and creative director of Ensell Taylor design studio. Having previously lectured in printed textile design at Birmingham City University, she continues to support and mentor some of her former students and is keen to promote their
highly original artwork. She is also re-engaging with her personal artistic practice through experimental mixed media approaches, exploring the intersection of serendipity and control - she also loves colour and a calligraphic moving line.
