Kevin interprets landscapes in and around Warwickshire as well as the larger more open landscapes and seascapes around the UK. His style could be described as ‘semi abstract’ but really it’s just about his representation of the way he sees what is in front of him by the use of colour and texture.
It’s all about capturing an atmosphere of the subject, rather than a photographic representation using acrylic paint / ink with layers of self-made collage papers layered over heavy textures.
