You will learn a range of hand building techniques such as coiling, slab building, pinching and can create different items such as vases, trinkets, soap dishes, plant pots, candle holders and more. There is a large selection of inspirational materials; images, forms, tools, textures and make your work stand out. At the end of your session, your items will be fired. Around 2 weeks later, after firing, you can collect your fired, unglazed ceramic masterpiece. Please note: this workshop includes one firing, and you will receive your creations in their unglazed form.
Materials provided / Included with your session:
- Enough clay to make the workshop piece (and often a bit extra!)
- Storage space for your item whilst it dries ready for firing.
- ONE firing (final pieces will be unglazed).
- Use of all of hand building tools, clay cutters.
