Bio

Vicky is a practicing artist and lecturer locally and she has had many artworks exhibited at the LSA gallery in Royal Leamington Spa. Also exhibitions of her work have been further afield at the Ikon Gallery in Birmingham; the Herbert Museum and Art Gallery in Coventry, together with other galleries in the Midlands and Warwickshire over the years. Her personal work is often in mixed media, whether using the wet felting technique and introducing silver and copper and silk embroidery; or collage. Acrylic paint in an impressionistic style, or combination to reach the desired effect. Often the felting artwork is expressionistic, and abstract to give the viewer the sense of experience that Vicky felt. Her love of textile use and design is a feature in a great many of her works.
