My Profile

My interest in art originated in my school days. I was always inclined towards portraits and figures. I have done a 2D animation course from Zee Institute of Creative Art, Mumbai and am an animator by profession. Worked in animated feature films and series as a 2D animator for 8 years with various animation companies. I now paint at home mostly using charcoal and soft pastels as my medium.

My charcoal art piece on the theme ‘Black lives Matter’ won me an award at the North Charleston, US Art Fest 2021.

I try to bring out the emotion and expression of my characters through a unique style of colour mixing in my portraits and figures. My inspiration comes from people from different parts of India and the varied tradition.
My aim is to reach out to people through my art and continue exploring new styles
