My Profile

I paint birds both on old fragments of wood and on canvas. I also make collage using torn up scraps of sketches, scribbles and scraps from here and there. I seek to express the wildness and freedom that birds have, colour, texture and pattern all have their part to play. I want to their energy, and their uniqueness. When I walk down the Greenway near my house I often see the canada geese flying over, their wild cry fills me with an excitement beyond words.
