Add various surfaces to work into. Look at different techniques to cover the frame from using dissolvable material for feathers to scraps and threads to create texture and colour and various stitches to help with shape. This isn’t soft toy making but sculpting, using thread, fabric and wire.

Materials provided: Wire; wire cutters and pliers; newspaper; scraps of material and different yarns; calico; doll needles; pictures of rats, birds, and dogs; and a small pamphlet to help finish the sculpture at home and provide further ideas.
