• Doodling opportunity
• Painting an image from a memory that may be an anxious thought or a pleasant one
• Spend time reflecting on images from doodling
• Feel the calming effect of painting with water
• Experience feelings that are evoked and expressed by painting with water
• The image disappears after 5 to 10 minutes which helps to reduce the impact of the thought in a brief period of reflection;
• Anxieties or uncomfortable feelings can be explored.
