Course outline: Gelli printing is a monoprinting technique that uses a soft, flexible gel plate to create one-of-a-kind prints without a press. It’s a creative process that combines painting, stamping, and collage, allowing endless experimentation with color, texture, and layering.

- Applying acrylic paint
- Adding textures & Patterns
- Making the print
- Creating a ghost print
- Multi layer printing
- Masking & Stenciling
- Image transfers
- Collaging the prints into a finished piece of work
- Gelli printing is an accessible and endlessly creative art form, for your own art practice, to do with friends or kids.
It can be easily done at home, on a table, with a gelli plate, acrylic paints & copy paper.
No prior experience or art background required. Anyone can do it.
