PARADOX

This exhibition explores contradiction, duality, and tension — the moments when opposites coexist, clash, or unexpectedly align. Paradox invites artists to delve into complexity, uncertainty, and layered meaning, creating work that provokes thought and embraces ambiguity.

By submitting artwork via this form, you are consenting to having your submitted work shared publicly via the LSA website and/or social media channels.

Leamington Studio Artists (LSA) has Public Liability insurance, but it does not have insurance to cover loss or damage to individual artworks. Therefore, if you wish your artwork to be insured, please make sure that you have made arrangements for the insurance of your artworks.

Selections are made by a panel. Decisions are final and at the discretion of the selection panel. No feedback can be given due to time restrictions.

If selected, Artists must deliver and collect their artwork to the LSA Art Room by the agreed deadlines.

Any artwork selected for show can be made available for purchase if the Artist desires. Artists are not obligated to sell their work.

The sale price will be decided by the Artist. Should a sale be made, 10% commission will be taken by the LSA. Purchases will be taken via the LSA  payment system and the Artist reimbursed their share at the end of the exhibition.

In providing this information I understand that it will supplement information I have provided in order to be an LSA member. LSA will provide your contact details to those within the organisation who need it:

  • To process membership records;
  • To manage exhibitions; or
  • To send out correspondence supporting LSA activities.
  • To make payments to you if your work is sold
  • We may provide elements of your data, as required to carry out particular tasks, to third parties, who may from time to time be contracted to manage the above processes.

We will not pass your contact details to any third party for their direct marketing purposes.

1. One Entry Only: You may apply for:
• 1 x wall submission (must not have been shown at LSA Art Room in the last 6 months)
• 1 x shelf submission.
• Only one will be accepted.

2. Wall Applications (Main Show)
• Must be original 2D or 3D artworks (e.g., painting, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, etc.)
• Reproductions not accepted

2a. Shelf/Glass Cabinet Applications
• May include small originals or a few reproductions (e.g., towels, slates, coasters)
• Provide a clear photo of all items you wish to display
• If accepted into a glass cabinet, you’ll be allocated two small shelves

3. Label Information
The details you provide in your form (title, medium, size, price, artist bio) will be used as-is for labels.

👉 Double-check Your Submission Before Sending – we cannot manually edit details afterwards.

  • 2D works must be ready to hang with D-rings and cord (no mirror plates).
  • 3D works should ideally be delivered with a suitable white plinth/stand.
  • Hanging fee:
    • £10 for Round 1 selected artists
    • £5 for second-round exhibits
    • 10% commission applies to all sold works.
  • Artist payments will be made after the exhibition ends.

As the LSA grows, we are committed to maintaining a gallery spaces that are both creatively bold and respectful of our community. To support this, we have introduced a new Ethical Review Stage for our exhibitions.
