Exhibiting at The Art Room

The Art Room is Leamington Studio Artists’  town centre gallery. Situated just off The Parade, in the Lower Mall of the Royal Priors Shopping Centre, it attracts over 1800 visitors every year. 

Exhibitions in The Art Room change every four weeks and are curated around a theme. Each LSA member is able to submit one piece (2D or 3D) for each exhibition and there is a hanging fee of £10, whether the piece sells or not. In the event of a sale, the LSA charges 10% commission.

We also have some special ‘focus’ events, where we showcase a particular art form and run demonstrations alongside an exhibition for two weeks. Look out for special call outs for those. 

Other items 

Members are also able to display unframed works (giclee prints or original works on paper) in browsers, as well as cards (all of which are sold at £3 each. 

Ten artists are selected to display three works each for the browsers, and ten for 20 cards each for each exhibition. 

*All unframed works must be wrapped in cellophane and supported with a board and clearly marked with the artist’s name and price, and cards must also be marked with the name of the artist.

Both opportunities are offered to artists in order of their length of time on the list. 

The Art Room is only able to open if we have volunteers to staff it. Our volunteers are vital because they represent all of us – both the organisation and the artists with works on display. Please consider volunteering, especially if you are exhibiting in an exhibition.
