In this class, Jacqui will introduce the technique of needle felting, a fun and easy craft to learn. During the session, you will create a small felt panel featuring a simple image using pre-dyed Merino wool tops, wool batts, and a variety of interesting fibres. You might choose to make a spring scene with sheep, a floral arrangement, or a bird in a tree—the decision is yours on the day. Jacqui will provide plenty of ideas and images to inspire you.
All materials are included, such as your felting sponge, wool, fibres, and three needles, with additional needles available to purchase if needed. You may also wish to bring embroidery threads and your sewing kit, as you will be shown how to add stitched details to your finished piece for extra definition. The class is suitable for both beginners and those with some experience.
