One of the ways we keep our Art Room interesting, vibrant and always different for our visitors is through our Artist in Residence (AIR) programme, where they can see and meet artists at work.
People love watching artists create their pieces and talking to them about their process. It brings extra energy to our gallery, making it come alive with creativity.
In our Art Room gallery, our Artist in Residence programme gives LSA members the opportunity to spend two weeks working and exhibiting in the space.
For artists, a residency offers:
We expect the artist to be in the gallery at least three days each week, working on their art and being part of the team welcoming visitors to the Art Room. If you sell work through the gallery during the residency, we take 10% commission.
We will support you with advice if you need it and help to plan your set up, so you make the most of your time in the gallery.
