I’m Ginte Zacharini, a contemporary artist.
My background is corporate business, but I found very rewarding creating art works that fills people’s everyday life, transforming their mood, their surroundings, inspiring and making them more comfortable and happy. Developing a unique style is a gradual process that is endless. It involves experimentation, practice, self and material discovery. I often start by learning more about my idea and than layering, layering, often imitating the techniques and styles of other artists that I admire.
In my artistic journey, I find inspiration from various aspects of my life, drawing from my experiences as a business person, a mother, and a woman in today's world. I strive to reflect these diverse perspectives in my artworks, creating pieces that resonate with people on a personal level and evoke emotions.
One of the subjects I explore in my art is food, which serves as a powerful symbol of our culture. Through my works, I metaphorically use food to represent significant life-changing events or various societal issues. While interpretations may vary depending on the viewers, my intention is always a positive perspective.
Another subject that holds great significance for me is harmony and balance. Having lived a fast-paced life as a business person, I understand the stress and pressure that comes with striving for constant achievement. In response, I create abstract paintings that exude a sense of calmness and tranquility. My intention is to provide a source of peace and serenity for viewers when they stand in front of my artworks. Through the use of colors, textures, and composition, I aim to create a visual experience that allows individuals to find solace and find a moment of respite from their hectic lives.
Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to create art that not only captivates the eye but also resonates with the viewer on a deeper level. By incorporating subjects that reflect my personal experiences and addressing themes of culture, change, and balance, I hope to inspire contemplation, spark conversations, and bring a sense of joy and tranquility to those who engage with my artworks.
It took me a while to figure out how to produce something long-lasting, that makes life extremely joyful and can have a huge effect on mood. I am fascinated by the human mind. My works are centred on bringing positive, energetic as well as harmonious forces to balance the world we are living in. I create artworks that offer a moment to pause, think, dream, plan, inhale and resurface. My paintings are colourful, vibrant abstracts that are rich in texture. Works are extremely layered with mixed mediums including acrylic paints, crayons, pencils, markers, etc. brought on the canvas or panel with all kinds of tools.
