David is a visual artist and art-psychotherapist based in Oxfordshire, UK.
He works as an interdisciplinary artist with watercolour, acrylics, found objects and digital media and has recently begun a series planting oak sapling and provoking spontaneous poetry.
David has gained experience across diverse industries: he studied and worked in hospitality before an honours degree in theology in 1991 and was then ordained into the Church of England. Following a radical change of perspective, he studied graphic design and illustration from 1998 to 2000, and worked as a commercial illustrator before running arts-in-health programmes from 2007 to 2016.
In 2014, David qualified with an MA [distinction] in 'Art Therapy' at the University of Hertfordshire; he now runs a successful business as an art psychotherapist within special needs schools in Oxfordshire.
David worked with Danny Gregory's international 'Sketchbook Skool', delivering live online workshops, rom 2020 to 2022.
He continues to explore personal spirituality through mindfulness, meditation, ecology, art-making and retreats.
David is currently undertaking a two-year MFA (online) at Falmouth University, expanding his art practice.
