Hi I'm Emma!
I use vibrant colour, metallics and strong composition in a mindful way to capture how nature ‘feels’ in those uplifting moments when we behold the sublime beauty of our natural world.
I create artworks to bring nature’s positive energy into your home, giving moments of calm reflection and warmth to your day.
A bit about my background.
Having created art both for enjoyment and professionally for many years, my style and preferred media have evolved over time. I now work predominantly with alcohol Inks, often mixing them with other media to add shade, texture and depth. These vibrant inks have a brilliance and luminosity which are perfect for evoking the excitement and richness of the natural world.
I am passionate about enjoying and protecting nature, and have organised the creation of wildflower meadows in my local village of Fenny Compton, Warwickshire.
I studied ‘Art in a community Context’ at The Roehampton Institute London, where I learnt both the technical skills of art and ways to use art to enrich the community, but that was just the beginning of my artistic journey.
