I was born locally [Cubbington], although I have worked in many places throughout the world from India, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and the Far East. It was when I semi-retired that I met up with an old work colleague who influenced me to start painting; that was in 2015 and I have been painting ever since. I am a self-taught artist and my love of nature, and the environment influences me the most in my work. I was a draughtsman early in my career and am open to different art forms as I think they help give you a broader perspective. Most of my work is in acrylic although I still like watercolour. My only real claim to fame is designing my wife’s book cover.
