My paintings explore the essence of being alive, translating experiences and ideas into an expressive visual vocabulary, I feel most alive in wild places. Tuning into my senses and what's around me, thinking gives way to moments of joy, exhilaration or simple peace. I love to explore these uncluttered experiences through the language of paint, drawing on the colours, textures, light and movement found in these favourite and happy places.
