Silver Ring Making – Jessica Noble | 9 Aug

Jessica Noble

Artist facilitating: Jessica Noble

Dates: Saturday, 9th August

Time: 10am – 1pm

Level: No experience necessary.

Location: LSA Art Room, Springboard Studios, Lower Mall, Royal Priors, Leamington Spa

This hands-on beginner-friendly workshop will introduce you to the art of silver jewellery making through the traditional technique of lost wax casting. In this process, you will work with special carving wax to design to sculpt your own ring, which will then be professionally cast in sterling silver and returned to you as a finished, wearable piece.

You’ll learn how to shape the wax to fit your finger and carve in your own patterns, textures, or design details. Whether you’re drawn to creating a delicate, minimal ring or a bold, chunky statement piece, this workshop provides the tools, guidance, and space to bring your ideas to life.

Materials provided: Jeweller’s wax (ring tubes), ring mandrels, wax carving tools (files and gravers), sandpaper, tea lights (for melting/smoothing wax – optional)

What to bring: You only need to bring yourself.

Please Note: The cost includes one ring to be cast per person; if participants would like to cast multiple rings, this is an additional charge.
