Hi, I’m Jonathan, an amateur photographer from Kenilworth in Warwickshire. I have always been a creative person and enjoyed art and other creative hobbies from a young age. It was only when I picked up my first camera that I knew it was the medium I wanted to use to express my creativity. I got into photography while in secondary school and afterwards decided to further my interest by enrolling at my local college, where I eventually attained City & Guilds accreditation in photography.

For many years I sought to get involved in various disciplines of photography like portraiture, corporate and weddings etc to get as much experience as possible in the industry. All of which has been invaluable to my progress as a photographer, although as with any profession, there is always something new to learn.

However, in 2019 I was diagnosed with a rare medical condition called Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) that unfortunately damaged my optic nerves, so I now suffer with some sight loss. This however has not stopped me from continuing to take photos. With the help of others and modern advances in photographic technology I can still enjoy photography now just as much as I did before.

I now focus mainly on wildlife, nature, landscape and more recently drone photography, but also have an interest in Automotive, Macro and Toy Photography; all of which you can see on my website and social media accounts.

I find photography both fascinating and relaxing. Seeing something that catches my eye gives me such a thrill and being able to capture an interesting scene or moment gives me great joy and satisfaction.
