Exhibition and Competition, Terms and Conditions

Entries must be the original work.

All submissions must be accompanied by a completed submission form.

The entry fees must be paid in full

There is a selection process.  Acceptance at submission is no guarantee of inclusion in the exhibition as demand may be high.

The submission fee will be refunded to those not selected to exhibit.

10% commission is charged on all sales.

Point of sale transaction fee will be levied on all sales

The artist will receive payment of sales within thirty days following the close of the exhibition via bank transfer.

The Maximum size of a wall hanging artwork is 50cm x 70 cm, including any frame. If the piece is slightly larger than this please contact the Curator or East Lodge Manager.

Canvases and framed works must be wire or cord strung.  Stringing should be a third of the way down and using D rings.  (No mirror plates please).  Inappropriately prepared or wet/damp work will be rejected.

Ceramics and small items such as jewellery can be accommodated on request in a lockable glass cabinet.

All works must be clearly marked on the reverse or underneath with: the artist’s name, the title of the work, price, a telephone number and email address.  LSA labels may be mandatory.

Items must be collected at the end of the hire or competition period.  Failure to collect at this time, without prior arrangement with the East Lodge Manager, will incur an additional £5 charge per item.

Any damage incurred to walls or premises must be restored on vacation of the gallery.

The LSA will not accept liability for any loss, damage, theft, fire or vandalism to artwork. Please ensure that you have adequate insurance in place. ARTISTS EXHIBIT AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE AND RIS

A Private View if required, to which all LSA members are invited is by arrangement with the East Lodge Manager.

East Lodge Gallery opening times are at the discretion of the East Lodge Manager and subject to Jephson Gardens opening times.  They may change at short notice.

The artist must remove all packaging upon delivery.  There is no storage at East Lodge.
