Soolie Burke is holding an informal writing forum for members at East Lodge on 6th and 7th November. The workshop will run from 10.30 – 2.30 on each day and will include tea/coffee and biscuits. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch, pen and paper. Soolie has completed a 6 month course at Oxford College and subsequently has written two manuscripts, one of which has been published. The forum is intended to provide an opportunity for like-minded members to come together in a structured environment to discuss literary preferences, do written exercises and receive guidance on use of language to create mood, etc. Space is limited to 10.
