EAST LODGE GALLERY CLOSED
Following the Government's recent recommendations concerning Coronavirus, with immediate effect and with a heavy heart, we are closing East Lodge Gallery until further notice. You can see the exhibitions we had planned below, and we hope our exhibition programme will resume very soon, but our priority is to keep our volunteers and customers safe. In the meantime, check back here for further news, and do keep following us on Facebook.

Writers’ Forum

£10Writers’ Forum
This is a follow up to Soolie Burke’s informal writing forum for members at East Lodge on 27th February, but it’s open to any member who would like to attend; you do not have to have attended the first session. The workshop will run from 10 – 3.30 with a half hour break for lunch and will include tea/coffee and biscuits. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch, pen and paper. Soolie has completed a 6 month course at Oxford College and subsequently has written two manuscripts, one of which has been published. The forum is intended to provide an opportunity for like-minded LSA members to come together in a structured environment to discuss literary preferences, do written exercises and receive guidance on use of language to create mood, etc. Space is limited to 6.
