Following the Government's recent recommendations concerning Coronavirus, with immediate effect and with a heavy heart, we are closing East Lodge Gallery until further notice.  You can see the exhibitions we had planned below, and we hope our exhibition programme will resume very soon, but our priority is to keep our volunteers and customers safe. In the meantime, check back here for further news, and do keep following us on Facebook.

Members’ Christmas Gifts Show

The LSA is rich with talented artists and this is a marvellous opportunity to see a selection of their work and to buy a unique Christmas gift. There is no theme for this exhibition and work in all mediums will be considered. 

Entry to the exhibition costs £10 per item or £15 per shelf in the lockable glass cabinet. Entries are limited to three wall-hanging items per member. Smaller items, eg jewellery, ceramics, etc. will be by negotiation with the East Lodge Manager. The submission fee will be refunded to those not selected to exhibit. Maximum artwork size for wall hanging is 50cm x 70cm or equivalent. If you have work bigger than this that you would like to submit, please contact the East Lodge Manager. Please email Chris at eastlodgemanager@lsa-artists.org with images of the work you are intending to submit and dimensions so that he can prepare for the exhibition.

No charge will be made for pieces submitted to replace sold work.

Submissions will also be accepted of greetings cards and mounted prints to be placed in a browser for those also submitting to the main exhibition. Browsers items will be charged at £1 each and are limited to 10 on show at any time. Additional browser items can be left at East Lodge to replace any sold. There will be no submission charge for replacement items.

Browser items must be individually labelled with artist’s name, title and price and must been wrapped in cellophane.

Greetings cards must be individually labelled with artist’s name and price and must be in cellophane envelopes.

All paintings must have a cord for hanging and a sticker on the back indicating the artist’s name, title, size, price and contact details (email and phone). If your submission is not selected for the exhibition you will be informed by email. Artwork not selected for show can be collected on Tuesday 28th November, 2-4pm.

There will be no commission fee charged on sales, but a 3% charge will be made for any purchases made by credit/debit card.

Submission will take place at East Lodge on Monday 27th November 10am-2pm. The £10 entry fee should be paid in cash at this time.

Unsold work should be collected between 1pm and 4pm on Sunday 14th January.

LSA will not take any responsibility for loss or damage to artwork. Please ensure that you have appropriate insurance in place. 

The exhibition will be open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am until 4pm (subject to park opening times), from 29th November until 14th January.
