Hilary Roberts and Jenny Chan

Hilary Roberts and Jenny Chan sharing East Lodge until 27th May 2018

The exhibition in East Lodge at the moment is an inspiring collection of photographs by Hilary Roberts, Master of the International Federation of Photographic Art and a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, and ceramics by Jenny Chan joint 2nd award winner of Arts & Crafts Design Award 2018.  Both rooms look fantastic; Jenny is making some of her work whilst she is there which is interesting to watch and she is keen to talk about her work. Hilary is there also and loves to engage with people so please come along and support them.

The Mead Gallery is showing an important exhibition of John Piper’s work.  Known locally for his post-war sketches and paintings of Coventry the day after the Blitz 14th November 1940 and for designing the beautiful and impressive stained glass Baptistry Window in Coventry Cathedral. The latest blogpost from ‘Journeys with “The Waste Land”‘ have a selection of important exhibitions for Coventry on this week’s blog.  Please see the usual link here.
